In mid-April, Dartmouth Castle will be throwing a medieval-themed day! You can watch knights show off their sword skills, see how people used to dress in olden times, and maybe even try your hand at archery. There might also be musicians playing tunes from hundreds of years ago!
Discovering the Romans at Lydford Castle
Late April might be a good time to visit Lydford Castle. They will be showing how the Romans used to live. Learn about Roman soldiers, see how they built fortifications, and maybe even try to write your name in Roman letters. It’s like stepping back in time to when Romans were in Britain.
