Somerset is a beautiful county in the south-west of England, and it’s home to a number of fantastic music festivals. Here’s a guide to some of the best ones happening in 2025.

Glastonbury Festival

Glastonbury is the most famous music festival in the world, and it takes place in Somerset every year. Held on Worthy Farm it attracts hundreds of thousands of people from all over the world. Glastonbury is known for its eclectic mix of music, including rock, pop, indie, dance, and world music. There are also a variety of other activities on offer, such as theatre, comedy, and art installations. Homestead Festival

Homestead is a new music festival that will be taking place in Somerset for the first time in 2025. Held at Fernhill Farm, the creators Will and Jess have run and worked across some of the UK’s most revered and well-known festivals. It will feature a mix of indie bands and DJs. The festival is also known for its focus on food and drink, with a variety of stalls selling everything from burgers to craft beer. Homestead Festival 2025 takes place from 18th to 21st July. Somerstock

Somerstock is a family-friendly music festival that takes place in Somerton, Somerset. The festival features a variety of music genres, including rock, pop, and indie. There are also a number of activities for children, such as bouncy castles and face painting.

The Godney Gathering
